Family Update

Ok, so I'm totally new to the blog thing but it seems like fun and a great way to keep in touch with people. I just wanted to do a quick update on our family to get sort of a baseline going. So here it goes.....

We are doing great! Since Evan and I got married in June 2003 we have had our first son, Jace, who is now over two and a half. He is getting so big. He keeps us very, very busy. The problem is that he is incredibly smart and thus figures out ways to get around every obstacle we throw at him to try to keep him out of things.

Lacey has been working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant for Whitmer & Associates for 4 years now. If you don't know what that is (which is most of you) she works with people who have been injured on the job and helping them get back to work.

Evan has been through several jobs in our first few years of marriage but last year he got his CDL and has been working with KDC Farms hauling hay and such since then. He's enjoying the work although the hours can be very long!

We are both serving in the nursery in our ward. The stake calls it "club nursery". We have a huge ward and an even huger (is that a word?) nursery. There's like 70 kids all in the gym together. Its out of control. We divide the room up into groups but it is challenging. We're hoping the ward is split soon but I'm losing faith in that regard!
